Job summary

MgM Hotels and Resorts invites an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations in our hospitality group at ECR, Chennai. You will drive talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and compliance across the property, partnering with department heads to shape manpower and culture.

We seek a hands-on leader with 8+ years in HR, strong knowledge of labour laws, payroll, performance management and HR analytics. Immediate joiners preferred; join us to elevate people practices in a dynamic hotel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
• 7+ years HR experience, preferably in hospitality
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS platforms

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations and ensure smooth HR processes across the organization.
• Lead talent acquisition and recruitment for all levels of positions.
• Plan and implement manpower planning and workforce strategies.
• Oversee onboarding, induction, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions and exit formalities.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, grievance handling and culture initiatives.
• Manage performance management and appraisal processes.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance and leave management and employee records.
• Develop and update HR policies, SOPs and internal processes.
• Partner with department heads on HR matters and organizational needs.
• Monitor discipline, attendance, absenteeism and workplace conduct.
• Prepare and analyze HR reports, dashboards, manpower and attrition data.
• Support training, development and succession planning initiatives.
• Handle employee relations matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Lead and mentor the HR team and ensure timely completion of HR activities.

Candidate Profile
