Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engine Services India Private Limited is seeking an HSE professional to collect data, analyze improvement opportunities, and drive action plans. You will coordinate with multiple departments to ensure regulatory compliance and effective HSE risk control across the site.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree with 2–5 years in HSE/EHS, familiarity with safety management systems, and strong MS Office skills. Telugu language proficiency is preferred for local liaison.

Qualifications

  • Graduation in Mechanical Engineering and PGP in HSE Management (NICHMAR Prefreed) system holders from established institute.
  • Experience in HSE / EHS / Safety Department (2–5 years).
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collect HSE data, analyze opportunities for improvements, and create action plans with timely closure.
  • Define action plans of HSE improvements based on event type and control impacts to employees.
  • Be guarantor of processes related to HSE risk control measures and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Inspect real-time workplaces, monitor and implement HSE action plans, and report financial aspects.
  • HSE data collection from stakeholders and reporting on site SCORE platforms.
  • Coordinate with industrial, technical, maintenance, operations, facilities, HR and other functions to share best practices.

Role & responsibilities

  • Collect HSE data, analyze opportunities of improvements, make HSE action plans and conduct action plan reviews for timely closure.
  • Define the action plans of HSE improvements based on HSE event type and control of impacts to employees in coordination with the HSE team and internal stakeholder teams.
  • Be the guarantor of the processes related to HSE risk control measures compliance by smooth coordination of all internal stakeholders.
  • Inspect real time workplace, monitor & implement the HSE related action plans and bring the financial elements of the plans to the HSE Responsible.
  • HSE related data collection from various stakeholders and review the data before reporting of the same in site SCORE platforms.
  • Act as a liaison with the various functions (industrial department, technical department, maintenance, operations, Facilities. HR, etc.) by sharing best practices, deploying action plans and coordinating within the HSE standards requirements framework.
  • Participate in the management of external agencies services specially ensuring adherence for work permit system implementation by inspecting real time workplaces
  • Raise awareness of the HSE topics and information on the site (employees, service providers, etc.).
  • Participate in the exchanges of the HSE networks (committee meetings, best practices, feedback, studies, etc.) at SAEH site level.
  • Be a driving force behind proposals to improve HSE performance (improving technical skills, technical monitoring, subsidies, training, etc.)
  • Take ownership of the regulatory watch and establish regulatory compliance.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across the plant to continuously improve workplace safety, health, and environmental performance.
  • Support to operational teams in hazards specific subjects, HSE matters. Also, other duties may be assigned by HSE team

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduation in Mechanical Engineering and PGP in HSE Management (NICHMAR Prefreed) system holders from established institute with 2 ~ 5 years of experience in HSE / EHS / Safety Department
  • Good knowledge of one or more items: Health, Safety and Environment management system
  • Ability to analyze and summarize topics related to HSE activities using MS Office
  • Ability to keep knowledge and skills up to date (technological, scientific and regulatory watch)
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary group and to monitor working groups for compliance
  • Ability to educate and persuade stakeholders
  • Telugu language prefered
