Job summary

Position: Senior HSE Officer / HSE Lead (Health, Safety & Environment)
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 7 to 12 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and programs across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive safety audits, inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs, safety inductions, and awareness initiatives.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics and prepare management reports and dashboards.
• Drive emergency preparedness programs, mock drills, and business continuity planning.
• Manage contractor and vendor safety compliance and conduct periodic evaluations.
• Promote a strong safety culture by engaging employees and stakeholders in HSE initiatives.
• Support and maintain compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant management systems.
• Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
• Lead environmental sustainability initiatives, waste management programs, and compliance monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ADIS, Diploma in Industrial Safety, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, environmental regulations, and management systems.

Required Experience

• 7 to 12 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment roles.
• Proven experience in leading HSE programs within manufacturing, engineering, construction, industrial, data center, or corporate environments.
• Experience in handling audits, regulatory inspections, contractor safety management, and compliance activities.
