Job summary

Bonito Designs is seeking an HRBP (Assistant Manager / Manager) to act as a strategic partner to business teams across our Mumbai operations. The role blends operational excellence with strategic HR initiatives to support rapid growth, enhance employee experience, and ensure smooth HR operations.

You will partner with leaders to implement HR policies, manage end-to-end employee lifecycle, drive engagement and relations, and develop HR analytics to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in HRBP or generalist HR roles.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Act as a consultant to managers on people-related matters including performance, engagement, and retention
• Drive HR policies and ensure effective implementation across teams
• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (onboarding to exit)
• Ensure smooth onboarding experience and induction processes
• Address employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and processes
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities
• Support employee relations and grievance handling
• Work closely with central HR team on engagement and retention strategies
• Identify gaps in existing HR processes and implement improvements
• Ensure accuracy and quality in HR service delivery (benefits, onboarding, etc.)
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute HR initiatives
• Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend actionable insights
• Ensure data integrity and efficient HRIS utilization
