Clean Harbours is seeking an experienced HR Shared Services Leader to oversee the US & Can Onboarding process within HR Shared Services. The role focuses on delivering onboarding services efficiently, driving process improvements, and enhancing the employee experience through strong operations management.

The ideal candidate has 9–13 years HR ops experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role, plus deep knowledge of HR processes.

• Collaborate with payroll, recruiting, and talent management teams to resolve inquiries.
• Prepare and analyze reports, scorecards, and dashboards to provide insights for decision-making.
• Ensure consistency and compliance in HR service delivery, mitigating risks and enhancing employee experience.
• Develop and mentor team members (direct reports 2–3; span of 30) and foster a positive environment.
• Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Handle conflict resolution and guide employee development.

Role Brief:

We are seeking an experienced HR Shared Services Leader to oversee and manage our US & Cannada Onboarding process within HR Shared service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of the Onboarding services, driving process improvements, and enhancing the employee experience through effective management of operations

Major Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the HR US & Can Onboarding team, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all line of business in Clean Harbours
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and systems, leveraging technology and automation.
• Collaborate with internal HR teams, including payroll, recruiting, and talent management, to resolve employee and manager inquiries.
• Prepare and analyze reports, scorecards, and dashboards to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Ensure consistency and compliance in HR service delivery, mitigating risks and enhancing the employee experience.Lead cross-functional initiatives related to process and quality improvement.
• Develop and mentor team members (direct reportee-2-3 and a span of 30 employees), fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Handle conflict resolution and provide guidance to team members on professional development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 9-13 years of HR operations experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
