Job summary

Zocket.ai in Chennai is seeking an HR Recruiter Intern to join the Talent Acquisition team and support end-to-end recruitment across functions. This internship offers hands-on exposure to sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and reporting.

The 6‑month, full‑time internship provides mentorship in a fast‑paced startup and the possibility of a full-time role based on performance. You will gain valuable experience across technology, sales, marketing, design, and business roles.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Workspace.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced startup.
• Prior internship or project experience in recruitment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through LinkedIn, portals, social media, and other hiring platforms.
• Screen resumes and identify suitable candidates based on job requirements.
• Conduct initial HR screening calls and evaluate candidate fit.
• Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain candidate records in ATS.
• Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Follow up with candidates on interview feedback and recruitment progress.
• Support employer branding initiatives and campus hiring activities.
• Assist with onboarding activities for new hires when required.
• Generate and maintain recruitment reports and hiring trackers.
