Primary Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

About The Opportunity A fast-growing technology & services organisation in the IT / software product lifecycle and professional services sector is expanding its HR capability in Chennai. We are hiring a hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive full-cycle recruitment, build talent pipelines across engineering and corporate functions, and strengthen employer branding to attract high-quality candidates. This is a full-time, Chennai-based role focused on delivering measurable hiring outcomes and exceptional candidate experience.

Role & Responsibilities

Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles: write compelling job ads, source candidates, screen CVs, schedule and conduct interviews, and close offers to meet hiring targets.
Execute multi-channel sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, Boolean search, referrals, and campus outreach to maintain a qualified talent pipeline.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft interview plans, evaluate candidates for skills and cultural fit, and provide hiring recommendations.
Manage the ATS: track candidates, maintain accurate requisition metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness), and generate recruitment reports to inform decisions.
Enhance candidate experience and employer branding across the candidate journey—coordinate recruitment marketing, careers pages, interview feedback, and onboarding handoffs.
Drive process improvements: standardise interview guides, strengthen assessment best practices, and support campus and volume-hiring drives as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field with 2+ years of hands-on talent acquisition / recruitment experience.
Proven experience with ATS platforms and recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri/Indeed, or equivalent) and strong Boolean sourcing skills.
Excellent stakeholder management, interviewing, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to influence hiring decisions.
Data-driven mindset: comfortable tracking KPIs (time-to-fill, source ROI), producing recruitment reports and making process recommendations.

Preferred

Experience in IT / Software hiring, campus recruitment, or volume hiring; familiarity with employer branding and recruitment marketing.
Knowledge of employment law basics, onboarding processes, and experience improving candidate experience across touchpoints.
