Qualifications

• 2-5 years of work experience in HR Shared Services.

Responsibilities

• Handle HR operations including hiring, reference letters, personal data changes, job data changes, and terminations.
• Process transactions with high accuracy and adhere to case management and SOX controls.
• Audit data entry accuracy within the HR Ops team.
• Support transition of processes from offshore locations and assist onboarding of new joiners.
• Prepare and follow up with managers/HRBPs to clarify information and obtain approvals.

HR Operations Specialist

How will you do it?

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Operations Specialist. The HR Operations Specialist will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring processing of transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail. Scope involves processing of Hiring, Reference Letters, Personal data changes, Job data changes, Terminations and more. The role will involve transition of processes from offshore locations and hence the incumbent will ensure the learning curve is maintained until self-sufficiency within transition timelines.

Skills & Experience

• Primary jobs involve handling job requisitions such as bulk creation, validation and approval using various business rules.
• Processes other workday administration such New Hires, Terminations, Employment Changes, Employment Verification, etc. including follow up with managers and HRBPs to clarify information, obtain approvals or request corrections.
• Process the transactions accomplishing KPIs defined by processes and according to the Case Management Framework and the SOX Matrix.
• Audits of data entry accuracy done by HR Ops team members
• Well versed with data protection principles, knows how to process confidential and sensitive employee information.
• Attention to detail – be able to accurately process transaction.
• Solid understanding of Workday and HR ServiceNow.
• Articulate work instructions and write standard operating procedure (SOPs). Support other team members and new joiners.
• Participate in regional and global projects to support regional HR initiatives.
