Job summary

Peak XV Partners in Bengaluru, India, seeks its first HR hire to build and run people operations for a Medtech portfolio company. You will partner with founders on org strategy, establish onboarding and contract processes, and manage HR operations and leave management.

You will drive talent acquisition, lay the foundations for an L&D framework, and help design a market-aligned compensation & benefits plan while handling office admin in a fluid environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a HR role in a startup is advantageous.

One of our Medtech portfolio companies providing orthopaedic solutions to the healthcare industry is looking for someone to join them to help build and manage their people ops as the first HR hire.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Founders to look at people and organization strategy
• Build a strong foundation for onboarding, contract management, leave management and all other HR Operations
• Drive talent acquisition for the business, ensuring top-talent is attracted and coming into the business
• Start to build an L&D framework to ensure employees are continuously developing and growing
• Start to build a strong compensation & benefits framework across the business to ensure market-alignment
• Manage people operations and end-to-end HR
• Manage any other office admin work

Requirements

• Someone passionate about joining a company on a 0 to 1 journey
• Someone passionate about healthcare/wellness
• Prior experience in a HR role in a startup would be an advantage
• Someone structured, precise, and great with multi-tasking without oversight
