Job summary

Elevation Capital is seeking an experienced HR leader to drive the people strategy in alignment with business growth. You will partner with the CEO and leadership team to ensure effective workforce planning and build scalable HR systems for a multi-location retail environment.

The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of leadership experience in the HR function, particularly within high-growth companies, and a strong understanding of Indian labor laws. This role will also focus on creating a robust employer brand.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading the HR function, ideally at a mid-stage, high-growth company.
• Proven ability to manage both retail/frontline workforce and corporate teams.
• Strong exposure to multi-location environments and the complexity that comes with scale.

Job description

As an experienced HR leader, you will be responsible for leading and executing a people strategy aligned with business growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnering closely with the CEO and leadership team on org design, workforce planning, and succession
• Building scalable HR systems for a multi-location retail footprint
• Designing hiring strategies for corporate (marketing, operations, finance, product, etc.) and retail functions
• Creating a strong employer brand across retail and corporate talent markets
• Developing performance management systems suitable for frontline retail staff and corporate functions
• Driving manager capability development
• Managing large-scale frontline workforce challenges such as attrition control, manpower planning, incentive frameworks, attendance & compliance
• Ensuring statutory compliance across states including PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments, etc.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading the HR function, ideally at a mid-stage, high-growth company
• Proven ability to manage both retail/frontline workforce and corporate teams
• Strong exposure to multi-location environments and the complexity that comes with scale
• Hands-on experience in org design and building HR systems, processes, and frameworks from scratch
• Solid understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance requirements
• A builder mentality - someone who has set up the people function, not just inherited one
