Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of HR experience, ideally covering recruitment along with broader HR responsibilities.
• A bachelor’s degree
• Working knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good judgment in sensitive situations
• Comfort with HR tools, Google Workspace or MS Office

• Recruitment and onboarding: end-to-end hiring, write job descriptions, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews.
• Build a strong talent pipeline through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and campus outreach.
• Handle offers, joining formalities, and smooth onboarding for new hires.
• HR operations and processes: set up and improve HR policies, maintain records, coordinate payroll inputs, ensure compliance.
• Employee relations and engagement: be the first point of contact, handle grievances, plan events and foster culture.
• Performance and development: support goal-setting and review cycles, identify training needs and coordinate learning programs.

About the role

We are looking for an HR Generalist who is excited to own the people function at a growing startup. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility from day one. You will hire great people, set up the HR processes that help us scale, look after our team’s wellbeing, and help shape a culture people are proud to be part of.

What you’ll do

Recruitment and onboarding

• Manage end-to-end hiring: understanding role requirements, writing job descriptions, sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews
• Build a strong talent pipeline through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and campus outreach
• Handle offers, joining formalities, and smooth onboarding so new hires feel welcome from their first day

HR operations and processes

• Set up, document, and improve HR policies and processes as the team grows
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and HR documentation
• Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
• Manage exit formalities, including exit interviews and full-and-final settlements

Employee relations and engagement

• Be the first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and feedback
• Handle grievances and conflicts fairly, confidentially, and promptly
• Plan and run internal events, celebrations, and engagement initiatives
• Help build a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture

Performance and development

• Support goal-setting and performance review cycles
• Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs

What we’re looking for
