Moring.ai in Chennai is building its India operations from the ground up. You will be the face of the company to every candidate, new hire, and visitor, and you will keep the Chennai office running as we scale from infancy to growth.

• 4-5 years of HR or people-operations experience at a high-growth SaaS company or startup.
• Dynamic, hands-on operator spanning HR, office ops, admin, and finance—often in the same day.
• Builder's instinct: spot what's missing, implement a system without waiting for guidance.

• Talent acquisition: source, screen, and close great people across engineering, product, and GTM.
• Onboarding & people ops: design onboarding that gets new hires productive fast; manage policies, payroll inputs, leaves and benefits.
• Office & administration: keep the Chennai office humming with facilities, vendors, travel, and supplies.
• Finance support: partner on expense management, invoicing, and basic finance ops.
• Culture & employer brand: shape how candidates and employees experience us, on and offline.
• Systems & tooling: select HR, ops, and admin tools and build scalable lightweight systems.

• Onboarding & people ops: design onboarding that gets new hires productive fast; run the day-to-day of HR, from policies to payroll inputs to leave and benefits.
• Office & administration: keep the Chennai office humming — facilities, vendors, supplies, travel, and everything that makes a workplace work.
• Finance support: partner on expense management, invoicing, and basic finance ops alongside our finance partners.
• Culture & employer brand: be the brand of Moring as an employer — shape how candidates and employees experience us, on and offline.
• Systems & tooling: pick the HR, ops, and admin tools and build the lightweight systems and processes that scale a company from its earliest days through rapid growth.

What we're looking for

• 4-5 years of HR or people-operations experience at a high-growth SaaS company or startup.
• A dynamic, hands-on operator who's comfortable spanning HR, office ops, admin, and finance — often in the same day.
• A builder's instinct: you spot what's missing, pick the right tool, and put a system in place without waiting to be told.
• Strong communication and people skills — you're polished enough to be the company's face and warm enough to make people feel at home.
• High ownership, low ego, and a bias for action in ambiguity.
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Chennai.
