Job summary

XEXAGON in Ahmedabad is seeking an HR professional to manage recruitment, payroll processing, compliance, and employee relations. The role covers onboarding, attendance management, audits, training programs, and HR reporting.

You will collaborate with department heads to identify training needs, support performance appraisals, and ensure smooth payroll processing aligned with labor laws and factory regulations. A proactive, communicative approach is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for shop floor, staff and supervisory positions.
  • Coordinate interviews with department heads and hiring managers.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and induction programs.
  • Maintain manpower planning and recruitment trackers.
  • Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
  • Promote positive employee relations and workplace harmony.
  • Conduct counseling sessions and support conflict resolution.
  • Facilitate communication between management and employees.
  • Monitor daily attendance, overtime, shifts, and leave records.
  • Ensure accurate attendance data for payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with department supervisors regarding absenteeism and workforce availability.
  • Prepare and verify payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
  • Coordinate with the payroll team for timely salary processing.
  • Handle employee queries related to salary and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and factory regulations.
  • Maintain records related to PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Professional Tax, Factory Act compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
  • Organize technical and behavioral training programs.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes.
  • Track employee performance objectives and development plans.
  • Assist managers in implementing performance improvement initiatives.
  • Organize employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys.
  • Support health, safety, and wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain employee files and HR documentation.
  • Update HRIS and employee databases.
  • Prepare HR reports, MIS, and management dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
