Job summary

Celestix Industries is seeking a proactive and organized HR Generalist with 2–4 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. The role covers day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, attendance, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, and HR administration.

You will collaborate with production and other departments to ensure smooth HR processes, maintain HRIS records, and support compliance with labor laws.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR Generalist functions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR operations.
  • Understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance (as applicable).
  • Experience with attendance management and HR documentation.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and employee relations skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and HR administration.
  • Coordinate background verification and joining formalities; prepare employment documents.
  • Update HRIS and maintain employee records; generate HR reports and MIS.
  • Address employee queries, conduct engagement activities, and support retention initiatives.
  • Support performance management, probation reviews, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Coordinate exit formalities, settlements, and exit interviews.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Generalist with 2–4 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, attendance, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, and HR administration. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of labor laws, and the ability to support a growing manufacturing workforce.

Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for technical, production, engineering, and support functions.
  • Coordinate interviews with department heads and hiring managers.
  • Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and employment documentation.
  • Manage employee onboarding, induction, and joining formalities.
  • Coordinate background verification and documentation.
2. HR Operations
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Manage attendance, leave records, and shift schedules.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs with the finance team.
  • Update HRIS and employee databases.
  • Prepare HR reports and MIS.
3. Employee Relations
  • Address employee queries and grievances.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
  • Support employee retention initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between management and employees.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture.
4. Performance Management
  • Support performance appraisal and probation review processes.
  • Track employee confirmations and promotions.
  • Coordinate training needs and development programs.
  • Assist department heads in employee performance improvement initiatives.
5. Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate statutory requirements related to:
    • PF (Provident Fund)
    • ESIC
    • Professional Tax
    • Bonus
    • Gratuity
    • Shops & Establishment Act
    • Factory Act
  • Maintain statutory registers and records.
  • Support labor inspections and compliance audits.
6. HR Policies & Administration
  • Implement HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain employee files and confidential HR records.
  • Support disciplinary procedures and documentation.
  • Coordinate exit formalities, full and final settlements, and exit interviews.
  • Assist in ISO and internal HR audits.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Finance, Administration, and Management.
  • Coordinate manpower planning with department heads.
  • Support organizational development and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement activities.
Required Skills
  • Experience in HR Generalist functions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR operations.
  • Understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Experience with attendance management and HRIS software.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and employee relations skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
  • 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, electrical, or industrial companies is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO documentation and HR audits is an added advantage.
