Job summary

BitesBee, a growing restaurant brand in Mohali, Punjab, is seeking an HR Executive to manage core HR activities, recruitment, documentation, payroll coordination, and employee engagement.

You will interact with staff and customers, coordinate onboarding, and support creative restaurant initiatives. The role is onsite, with a focus on delivering a positive employee and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of HR/recruitment experience in hospitality, retail, or related environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with employees and customers.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace; able to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for restaurant staff and other roles.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and joining records; coordinate interviews and onboarding.
• Coordinate payroll-related information with Accounts/Finance; support attendance and leaves.
• Manage HR documents, employee records, and data accuracy; assist with onboarding and employee relations.
• Plan and execute employee engagement activities and in-store customer interaction initiatives.
• Create in-store notices, posters, and creative boards; contribute to marketing and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Hiring
• Handle end-to-end recruitment for restaurant staff and support hiring across different roles.
• Source candidates through job portals, references, social media, and other relevant channels.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and follow up with selected candidates until joining.
• Maintain proper recruitment trackers and hiring records.
• Employee Documentation & Records
• Maintain employee files and ensure all required documents are collected and updated.
• Manage joining documentation, attendance records, leave records, and other HR-related data.
• Keep employee information organized and up to date.
• Support onboarding and ensure a smooth joining experience for new employees.
• Payroll Coordination
• Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance team for monthly payroll processing.
• Share accurate attendance, leave, new joining, exit, and salary-related information.
• Support in resolving employee queries related to salary and payroll.
• Employee Engagement & General HR Activities
• Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, fun activities, celebrations, and events.
• Conduct regular customer interactions and understand their concerns and feedback.
• Help create a positive and friendly environment.
• Support day-to-day HR activities and employee relations.
• Customer Engagement
• Interact with customers occasionally to make them feel welcomed and valued.
• Take informal feedback and understand the customer experience.
• Share relevant customer feedback and suggestions with the management team.
• Creative & Marketing Support
• Design and maintain creative boards, notices, posters, and in-store communication.
• Come up with creative ideas for restaurant promotions, employee engagement, and customer experience.
• Provide marketing and engagement suggestions that can help increase customer interaction and brand visibility.
• Assist with planning and executing small promotional activities at the restaurant.

What We’re Looking For

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, hospitality, retail, or a similar environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable interacting with both employees and customers.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Creative mindset with an interest in marketing and engagement activities.
• Ability to manage multiple HR activities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Should be proactive, approachable, and comfortable working onsite.
