Job summary

EMO Energy in Bengaluru is seeking a proactive HR professional to drive employee engagement, people-connect and retention initiatives across our organization, including fleet, hubs, riders and field teams. You will plan engagements, coordinate awards, and support performance processes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of HR experience in Employee Engagement or People Operations

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR professional to drive employee engagement, people-connect and retention initiatives across the organisation. The role will involve planning and executing engagement activities for corporate as well as fleet, hub, rider and field support teams. The role will also support performance management, employee recognition, HR analytics, audits and key employee lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate should be a strong executor with excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

What You Will Do

• Plan and independently drive regular employee engagement activities, events and initiatives, ensuring strong employee participation and engagement.
• Develop and execute engagement initiatives specifically for fleet, hubs, riders and field support teams, considering their unique workforce requirements.
• Build strong employee connect, understand people's concerns, and identify opportunities to improve employee experience, morale and retention.
• Develop and execute employee retention initiatives and action plans based on employee feedback, attrition trends and business requirements.
• Plan and coordinate quarterly and annual employee awards and recognition programs, including award categories, nominations, coordination and execution.
• Support the performance evaluation/appraisal process, including planning, communication, coordination, tracking and closure of the cycle.
• Assist with HR data analytics, MIS, reporting and HR audits, including headcount, attrition, engagement and other key people metrics.
• Support employee lifecycle activities including hiring, onboarding, confirmation, increments, promotions, transfers, exits and other HR processes as required.
• Work closely with business/function heads and operations teams to understand people requirements and implement relevant HR initiatives.
• Drive HR communications, employee feedback initiatives and people-related projects while continuously identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in HR, preferably in Employee Engagement, People Operations, HR Generalist or Employee Experience roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Strong experience in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and employee-connect skills.
• Strong coordination, planning and execution abilities with attention to detail.
• Good analytical skills with hands-on experience in MS Excel/Google Sheets and HR MIS/reporting.
• Ability to work effectively with employees across different functions, levels and locations.
• Exposure to a frontline, field, fleet, hub or distributed workforce will be an added advantage.
• Proactive, creative and solution-oriented approach with the ability to independently take ownership of initiatives.
