The HRBP will act as the strategic liaison between the HR department and assigned business units, driving workforce effectiveness. This role requires a hybrid approach, combining strategic coaching for leadership with hands‑on management of daily HR operations, including attendance, rostering, incentives and joining formalities, utilizing Power BI to drive data‑driven decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Workforce Administration
- Attendance & Leave Management: Oversee daily attendance, ensuring timely attendance marking, managing exceptions, and accurate maintenance of leave records.
- Roster Making & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and publish staff rosters/shifts based on business needs, ensuring optimal staffing levels and compliance with labor laws.
- Overtime (OT) Management: Track, verify, and approve overtime data, ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.
- Incentives & Payroll Support: Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure accurate processing of incentives, bonuses, and salary components based on performance and attendance.
- Joining Formalities & Onboarding: Manage the end‑to‑end joining formalities, including documentation, verification, background checks, system creation, and induction for new hires.
2. Data Analytics & Reporting (Power BI)
- Power BI Reporting: Use Power BI to create dynamic dashboards tracking HR metrics such as headcount, absenteeism, turnover, and leave patterns.
- Insights Generation: Analyze workforce data to identify trends, such as rising absenteeism, and proactively advise managers to resolve issues.
- Operational Reports: Generate weekly/monthly HR reports to track OT, incentives, and attendance compliance.
3. HRBP Strategic Business Partnership
- Stakeholder Management: Consult with line management, providing daily HR guidance to assigned departments.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Support managers with performance appraisal processes, feedback, and coaching.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience: 3–6 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR Operations and Business Partnering.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel (Vlookup/Pivot Tables) and Power BI for dashboard creation and data analysis.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with HRIS systems and attendance/roster management software.
- Compliance: Deep understanding of local labor laws regarding attendance, OT, and leaves.
