Job summary

Aayush Kumar IQ City Foundation in Durgapur is seeking an experienced Hospital Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations across the hospital, ensuring cleanliness and infection prevention. You will manage manpower rosters, supervise cleaning, disinfection, waste management, and inventory, and coordinate with Infection Control and NABH compliance to maintain high safety standards.

Experience in healthcare facility management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; Hospitality Management preferred.
• Relevant experience in hospital housekeeping or healthcare facility management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily housekeeping operations across the hospital.
• Ensure cleaning and disinfection as per hospital SOPs.
• Maintain hygiene in patient rooms, OT, ICU, OPD, emergency, and public areas.
• Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal practices.
• Manage laundry, linen, uniforms, and housekeeping supplies.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower.
• Monitor housekeeping staff performance and discipline.
• Conduct regular cleanliness and hygiene inspections.
• Coordinate with Infection Control and Quality departments.
• Ensure compliance with NABH and hospital safety standards.
• Manage housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and inventory.
• Coordinate with housekeeping vendors and service providers.
• Conduct staff training on cleaning, safety, and infection prevention.
• Handle complaints related to cleanliness and housekeeping services.
• Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, and MIS reports.
