The role involves acquiring hospitals, negotiating partnerships, activating hospital teams and generating repeat business from eligible insured patients who need financing while awaiting insurance reimbursement.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role with ownership of a defined city or territory. You will build relationships with hospital decision-makers and coordinate implementation and ongoing service with our medical underwriting, credit and operations teams.
1. Hospital Acquisition & Business Development: Identify and acquire hospitals, specialty centres, and eligible day-care facilities based on insured patient volumes, reimbursement financing demand, and business potential.
2. Strategic Partnerships & Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with hospital promoters, CEOs, unit heads, administrators, finance heads, and insurance/TPA teams to establish long-term business partnerships.
3. Commercial Negotiation & Partnership Closure: Present the insurance reimbursement financing proposition, negotiate commercial terms within approved limits, and manage partnership agreements from prospecting to closure.
4. Hospital Onboarding & Activation: Own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including documentation, agreement execution, operational onboarding, first funding, and activation of recurring business.
5. Hospital Team Training & Referral Generation: Train hospital insurance, billing, admissions, and patient counselling teams to identify eligible patients, explain the financing process, and generate qualified referrals.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination & Execution: Collaborate with medical underwriting, credit, and operations teams to resolve case-related queries, facilitate timely processing, and ensure smooth execution of hospital partnerships.
7. Account Management & Business Growth: Monitor hospital engagement, identify conversion barriers, reactivate underperforming accounts, and drive repeat business through ongoing relationship management.
8. Sales Performance & Commercial Analysis: Track hospital acquisition, activation, funded cases, disbursement volumes, conversion rates, and commercial contribution through CRM systems and regular performance reviews.
9. Product Communication & Compliance: Communicate financing terms, eligibility criteria, and processes accurately to hospital stakeholders and patients, ensuring that medical assessments, credit decisions, and insurance reimbursement outcomes are not misrepresented.
10. Territory Management & Market Development: Develop and execute a territory-specific acquisition strategy, build a strong hospital pipeline, monitor market opportunities, and undertake regular field visits to achieve business targets.
Experience: 4–6 years of experience in hospital acquisition, partnerships, and business development within healthcare financing, insurance claims services, or related healthcare businesses.
Acquisition Expertise: Proven track record of personally acquiring new hospital partners, negotiating commercial agreements, and generating recurring business.
Hospital Relationships: Established relationships with hospital management, finance leaders, administrators, and insurance/TPA teams.

Business Activation: Demonstrated ability to convert signed agreements into operational partnerships and sustained funded business.
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of pricing, business volumes, conversion rates, service requirements, and account-level commercial contribution.
Education: Graduate in any discipline. An MBA or qualification in healthcare or hospital management is desirable.
Communication & Technical Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and pipeline reporting.
Territory Ownership: Familiarity with the assigned geography and willingness to travel regularly for hospital meetings, onboarding, and account management.
Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English and relevant regional languages.
