Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced LMS integration specialist to lead implementation and migration projects across multiple platforms. You will design and support middleware solutions, work with APIs and ETL tools, and ensure data integrity within LMS ecosystems.

The role emphasizes expertise in LMS structures, standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI), and integration architecture, with a focus on delivering scalable, reliable learning solutions. Familiarity with cloud APIs and SQL databases is a plus.

Role & responsibilities

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in LMS Implementations (SuccessFactors Learning, Cornerstone, Saba, Moodle, Workday Learning, or similar).
• Strong experience in Data Migration and Content Migration projects.
• Experience in developing and supporting Middleware/Integration Solutions using APIs, Web Services, ETL tools, or Integration Platforms.
• Knowledge of LMS data structures, learning content standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI), and integration architecture.
• Experience with SQL and database management.

Good to Have

• Java development experience.
• Python scripting and automation experience.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Knowledge of Git, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Looking for candidates with proven experience in:

• LMS implementation and technical configuration.
• Learning content and data migration projects.
• Middleware/API development and integration.
• LMS modernization or platform transition initiatives.
