Key Responsibilities

• Coding Expertise: In-depth knowledge of E/M levelling and Ophthalmology-specific coding guidelines, including the expert use of modifiers (e.g., -24, -25, -54, -55, -79) [2, 4].
• Surgical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of procedural coding for:
  • Cataract and Glaucoma surgeries.
  • Cornea and Retina procedures.
  • Oculoplastic, specifically Blepharoplasty.
