Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing eye conditions, performing surgical procedures, and providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, retinal procedures, and other eye surgeries as per expertise
• Conduct thorough eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases
• Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up care
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
• Maintain accurate medical records and surgical documentation
• Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans and surgical outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic anatomy and clinical examination components
• Proven hands‑on experience in ophthalmology coding and documentation
• In-depth understanding of US healthcare coding guidelines and payer policies (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
