Job summary

2COMS Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata is seeking an Executive – Purchase & Stores with 2–5 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, stores and inventory control.

You will manage end-to-end purchasing, stock movements, and MIS reporting to support uninterrupted operations. Responsibilities include supplier negotiations, purchase orders, stock verification, and ERP-driven inventory records; ensure timely deliveries and alignment with budgets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in purchase processes, stock management, vendor coordination, and MIS reporting.
• Experience in malls, retail, hospitality, commercial property or facilities management preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement, Stores or Inventory Management.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchase and procurement activities, including quotations, comparisons, negotiations, and Purchase Orders.
• Source materials, consumables, spares, stationery, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing, quality, delivery, and replacements.
• Manage day-to-day stores and inventory operations, including inward, storage, issue, and outward movement.
• Verify materials against POs, delivery challans, and invoices and maintain GRN and stock records.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct physical verification, and reconcile inventory.
• Identify slow-moving, excess, obsolete, or damaged materials and report accordingly.
• Maintain purchase registers, vendor records, PO documentation, stock registers, and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with Finance and internal departments for purchase requirements, invoices, and payments.
• Support audits and ensure proper documentation and housekeeping in the stores area.

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; B.Com preferred .
  
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement, Stores, or Inventory Management.
  
• Experience in malls, retail, hospitality, commercial property, or facilities management preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of vendor coordination, quotation comparison, Purchase Orders, and inventory management .
  
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems .
  
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and analytical skills.
