Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Education Counselor to provide expert academic and career guidance to students while driving admissions and enrollment objectives. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end counseling and admission process, build strong relationships with students and parents, and contribute towards achieving organizational growth targets.

The role requires a blend of student counseling expertise, sales acumen, and relationship management skills. The candidate will also mentor prospective students in making informed educational and career decisions aligned with their aspirations and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding educational programs, career paths and learning opportunities.
• Provide personalized academic and career guidance based on students’ interests, abilities and goals.
• Manage the complete admission process from inquiry generation to enrollment.
• Conduct counseling sessions, workshops, webinars and seminars to promote educational programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents and educational institutions.
• Identify prospective students through lead generation activities and effectively convert inquiries into admissions.
• Follow up on leads through calls, emails and other communication channels.
• Assess students’ strengths, challenges and educational needs through discussions and academic evaluations.
• Assist students with course selection, educational planning and progression pathways.
• Offer career counseling by providing insights into career options, vocational opportunities and higher education prospects.
• Support students in developing study habits, time management techniques and goal‑setting strategies.
• Identify academic, behavioral or emotional concerns and refer students to appropriate support services when required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance student experience and achieve business objectives.
• Stay updated with current educational trends, industry developments and institutional offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cold calling and lead generation activities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships with students and parents.
• Strong lead follow‑up and conversion skills with a target‑oriented approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 6 Months + of experience in Education Sales or Counseling.
• Prior experience in EdTech, Training Institutes, Educational Services or related industries will be preferred.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
