Job summary

Kintech GreenUrja Private Limited is seeking a Head – Solar & BESS EPC Design to lead engineering and design for utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System projects from concept to construction support.

You will oversee diverse engineering disciplines, drive design optimization and ensure timely deliverables while coordinating with clients and vendors. The role requires extensive leadership experience in renewable energy design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering and design of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS EPC projects.
• Strong expertise in grid interconnection, substations, transmission systems, design management and standards.
• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams on renewable energy projects.

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering for Solar PV, BESS, pooling substations, and evacuation systems.
• Oversee civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and protection & control design.
• Review and approve layouts, SLDs, equipment specs, design calculations, and drawings.
• Drive design optimization, standardization, value engineering and codes compliance.
• Coordinate with project execution, procurement, OEMs, consultants, utilities and clients.
• Provide technical leadership during tendering, project execution and commissioning.

We are seeking an experienced Head – Solar & BESS EPC Design to lead the engineering and design of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from concept through construction support.

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering for Solar PV, BESS, pooling substations, and evacuation systems.
• Oversee civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and protection & control design.
• Review and approve layouts, SLDs, equipment specifications, design calculations, and construction drawings.
• Drive design optimization, standardization, value engineering, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with project execution, procurement, OEMs, consultants, utilities, and clients to ensure timely engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership during tendering, project execution, commissioning, and design issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering and design of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS EPC projects.
• Strong expertise in grid interconnection, substations, transmission systems, design management, and engineering standards.
