Electrical Design Lead – BESS / Wind / Solar PV

ACWA Power is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Lead to join the Renewables Engineering Office in Bangalore. You will own electrical design activities across BESS, Wind, and Solar PV projects, ensuring optimized, reliable, and cost-effective designs. You’ll prepare and coordinate Basic Design & FEED packages, validate external designs, and provide engineering support across the full project lifecycle.

• Lead electrical design and BoP engineering for renewable energy projects (Solar PV, Wind, BESS).
• Prepare and validate Basic Engineering & FEED documents, including design basis reports, SLDs, and electrical calculations.
• Support bid preparation and investment reviews, ensuring technical consistency and cost optimization.
• Guide EPC contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure design excellence and compliance with global standards.
• Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to enhance project efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in the Renewable Power and Utilities sector.
