Job summary

PeopleStrong Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned AGM - Project Planning / Head - Project Planning to lead planning for major railway infrastructure projects. You will own budgeting, baselines, schedules, and daily controls from mobilization through completion.

The role requires 10–15 years in railway projects, strong Primavera P6/MS Project expertise, and the ability to coordinate across multiple interfaces to ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering required.
• 10–15 years of experience in railway infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls for major railway infra projects from mobilization to completion.
• Develop and maintain baseline schedules, detailed execution programmes, monthly plans, and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor planned vs. actual progress, identify delays, and drive recovery plans with execution teams.
• Coordinate with Project Heads, Construction, Engineering, Contracts, Billing, Procurement, Commercial, and HO teams.
• Review resource planning, manpower, machinery, and material requirements.
• Prepare weekly/monthly MIS, progress dashboards, S-curves, DPR/MPR, and critical path analyses for senior management.
• Drive delay analysis, EOT-related planning inputs, and schedule impact assessments with Contracts/Commercial teams.
• Monitor subcontractor/vendor schedules to align with master programme and commitments.
• Lead a planning team and establish robust project control systems and reporting mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead theoverall project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls for major railway infrastructure projects from mobilization to completion.
• Develop and maintainbaseline schedules, detailed execution programmes, monthly plans, and look-ahead schedules in line with contractual milestones.
• Monitorplanned vs. actual progress, identify critical delays and bottlenecks, and drive recovery/catch-up plans in coordination with project execution teams.
• Coordinate closely withProject Heads, Construction, Engineering, Contracts, Billing, Procurement, Commercial, and HO teams to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
• Reviewresource planning, productivity, quantities, manpower, machinery, and material requirements and align them with project execution plans.
• Prepare and reviewweekly/monthly MIS, progress dashboards, S-curves, DPR/MPR, critical path analysis, and management reports for senior management review.
• Drivedelay analysis, EOT-related planning inputs, schedule impact assessment, and contractual programme submissions in coordination with the Contracts/Commercial team.
• Monitor subcontractor/vendor programmes and ensure their schedules are aligned with theapproved master project programme and contractual commitments.
• Lead a team of planning professionals and establish robustproject control systems, planning processes, reporting mechanisms, and performance monitoring standards across railway projects.
• Should have strong hands-on experience inRailway/Metro/Heavy Civil infrastructure projects, with proficiency inPrimavera P6, MS Project, Excel, project controls, critical path analysis, and schedule management.
