Job summary

A leading construction firm in Uttarakhand is seeking a Project Planning & Controls Head. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and implementing project plans while ensuring proper resource allocation and scheduling. Ideal candidates should have experience in roads and tunnels along with strong project management skills, especially in MS Project and Primavera.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in roads, tunnels, hydro, etc.
• Hands-on experience in Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting.
• Knowledge of MS Project; Primavera is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of project plan and budget.
• Implementation of project plan and resource allocation.
• Monitor construction schedule and address delays.
• Prepare method statements for clients/consultants.
• Conduct regular progress review meetings.
• Analyze gaps between planned and actual outcomes.
• Conduct progress review meetings at fixed intervals.
• Analyze gaps between planned and actual performance and guide actions.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of project plan & project budget
• Implementation of project plan & ensures logical sequencing of plan based on resources
• Plans resources, arrangement & allocation of resources as per the project plan
• Monitors construction schedule & highlights anticipated delays/deviancies in advance
• To prepare method statement & submits to clients/consultants for approval
• To prepare time cycle charts of major activities of work
• To conduct progress review meetings at fixed intervals
• To analyze the gaps between the planned Vs actual and highlight the areas needing attention for the action of the project team

Desired Profile:

• Candidate should have relevant experience in roads, tunnels, hydro, etc.
• Candidate should have hands-on experience in Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting, etc.
• Candidate must have a working knowledge of MS Project. Knowledge of Primavera is desired.
