Job summary

Kineco in Goa, India is seeking a skilled project coordinator for railway/rolling stock projects. You will plan, coordinate and monitor from engineering to final delivery, and work with Design, Engineering, Production, Quality, SCM and Testing teams.

You will review customer specifications, prepare schedules and trackers, monitor milestones and production status, coordinate BOM and drawings, and support FAT, inspection and site activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating complex railway/rolling stock projects.
  • Ability to read drawings, BOMs and technical documents.
  • Strong communication with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and monitor railway/rolling stock projects from engineering to production and final delivery.
  • Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Production, Quality, SCM and Testing teams for project execution.
  • Review customer specifications, drawings, technical documents and project requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, trackers, MIS reports and progress reports.
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, material availability and production status.
  • Coordinate BOM, drawings, engineering changes and technical documentation.
  • Follow up with suppliers and internal teams for timely availability of project materials/components.
  • Support FAT, inspection, testing, validation and customer acceptance activities.
  • Identify project risks, delays and technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and maintain action trackers.
  • Ensure project documentation is maintained as per company and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with customers/clients for technical clarifications, project updates and documentation.
  • Support installation, commissioning and site activities, wherever required.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable railway industry, safety, quality and customer standards.

Job description

Required Technical Exposure

Candidates should preferably have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Railway / Rolling Stock / Rail Transportation manufacturing
  • Railway coaches, metro coaches, locomotives or railway equipment
  • Electrical/electronic systems, interiors, mechanical assemblies or railway components
  • Engineering drawings, BOM, specifications and technical documentation
  • Project planning, execution and coordination
  • Production and manufacturing processes
  • Testing, inspection and validation
  • Vendor and supplier coordination
  • Engineering Change Management
