Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking a Head of Finance to lead financial strategy and compliance, manage reporting under IFRS, and build a high-performing finance team. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of experience in financial management, taxation, and auditing, preferably within IT captives or GCCs. This is a full-time position located in Maharashtra, India with competitive compensation up to 30L.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Financial Management.
• Experience in IT Captives / GCCs with multi-entity & multi-currency operations.
• Experience in Taxation and Auditing.
• Experience in transfer pricing, consolidation, and global reporting.

Head of Finance

Total Experience: 10+ years

Qualifications: Graduate/Post Graduate preferred

Availability: Immediate joiners required / Serving notice period / 30 days

CTC: Up to 30L

We’re looking for a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience in financial management, taxation, auditing, and global reporting—ideally within IT captives or GCCs.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving financial planning and compliance with SEZ regulations
• Managing reporting under IFRS and local GAAP
• Leading ERP optimization and operational excellence initiatives
• Building and mentoring a high-performing finance team

Key Skills

• Expertise in accounting, taxation, and ERP systems (JDE/Tally)
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities

• 10+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Financial Management.
• Experience in IT Captives / GCCs with multi-entity & multi-currency operations.
• Experience in Taxation and Auditing
• Experience in transfer pricing, consolidation, and global reporting.
• Exposure to project finance and cost optimization initiatives.

Strategic Finance Leadership

• Drive financial strategy, planning, and analysis aligned with global business objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Partner with business leaders to support decision-making through financial insights.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with SEZ regulations (SERF, Softex, MPR, APR, DTA, DSPF).
• Oversee statutory, tax, and internal audits; ensure timely and accurate filings.
• Manage GST, TDS, Advanced Tax, and other direct/indirect tax obligations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to global headquarters.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Drive process improvements in month-end close, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee payroll, vendor payments, and treasury operations.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Lead finance automation and ERP optimization (JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Legal, and IT.
• Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
