Job summary

Eagle Fleet Services in India seeks a seasoned finance leader to head the organisation's finance and accounting functions, ensuring governance, statutory compliance and strategic support to leadership.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and cost management while strengthening internal controls and financial systems to enable informed decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA (Inter) / M.Com / MBA (Finance) qualification required.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts (ITES / Service industry preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting team, providing direction and oversight.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounting, reporting and controls.
• Oversee financial systems, processes and reporting frameworks.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and MIS reporting across functions.
• Drive cost control initiatives and monitor variances against budget.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance including GST, TDS and corporate taxes.

Role summary

To lead and manage the organisations finance and accounting function, ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and strategic support to leadership. The role focuses on financial planning, cost optimisation, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Leadership & Operations

• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the finance and accounting team
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and controls
• Oversee financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Reporting

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Prepare, analyze, and present all the MIS reports as required across functions, including:
• Profit & Loss (by business/location)
• Budget vs. forecast analysis
• Weekly cash flow statements
• Monitor financial performance and highlight key variances

Cost Management & Business Performance

• Drive cost control initiatives and implement cost reduction strategies
• Conduct detailed cost analysis to improve operational efficiency
• Lead financial review of overall business performance

Compliance, Taxation & Regulatory

• Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including:
• GST, TDS, Income Tax, Corporate Tax
• PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, and Consultancy/Contract agreements & payments
• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies
• Manage audits and strengthen internal control frameworks

Payroll & Statutory Management

• Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings and compliance
• Oversee the disbursement of salary on time.
• Manage employee-related financial obligations and insurance schemes

Process Improvement & Controls

• Establish and implement SOPs across finance and critical business processes
• Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks
• Lead transition of business processes into the finance function where required

Strategic Finance & Business Partnering

• Provide strategic financial recommendations to Managing Partners and leadership team
• Support long-term business and financial planning initiatives
• Evaluate business initiatives, new product/service launches, and service offerings
• Perform project analysis, validation, and ad-hoc financial assessments

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with senior management, external partners, auditors, and stakeholders
• Act as a trusted financial advisor across functions

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CMA (Inter) / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts (ITES / Service industry preferred)

Key Skills & Competencies

Functional Skills

• Strong expertise in financial management, accounting, and internal controls
• In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and corporate taxation
• Sound understanding of consultancy and contract agreements, related payments, and statutory compliances such as PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and the Companies Act.
• Experience in cost management and financial planning

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Tally and other financial/ERP systems
• Advanced MS office skills
• Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access) preferred
