Job summary

Jindal Aluminium is seeking an IT leader to drive the SAP/ERP strategy and manage global IT operations in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee SAP implementations, integrate systems, and guide modernization initiatives to enable business growth.

You will coordinate with finance, production, and other functions, ensuring governance, data security, and reliable IT services. A strong background in SAP and manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology
• 10–15 years of relevant IT experience
• SAP + IT leadership + manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and manage SAP/ERP systems, including implementation, integration, upgrades, optimization, and ongoing support.
• Provide functional understanding of SAP modules and coordinate with business users, SAP consultants, and implementation partners.
• Manage IT infrastructure, servers, networks, cloud platforms, databases, applications, and end-user computing.
• Drive SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC optimization and integration with other business applications.
• Lead digital transformation, automation, and IT modernization.
• Ensure effective IT governance, cybersecurity, data protection, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Manage IT projects, budgets, vendors, contracts, licenses, and service-level agreements.
• Work with Finance, HR, Production, Sales, Supply Chain, and other functions to implement technology solutions.
• Establish IT policies, SOPs, security standards, and internal controls.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team and ensure service delivery.
• Provide MIS/analytics support to senior management.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA / ECC and integration with business applications.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Experience in digital transformation and automation.
• Strong project, vendor, stakeholder, and team management skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience will be an added advantage.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology.
• 10–15 years of relevant IT experience, with experience in managing IT operations and teams.
• Candidates with strong SAP + IT leadership + manufacturing experiencewill be preferred.
