Job summary

N Human Resources & Management Systems in Bangalore seeks an experienced Head of Human Resources to own end-to-end HR functions. This hands-on leadership role partners with CFO and senior leadership to build a high-performance, compliant HR function across talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll and employee relations.

You will lead a small HR team, shape policies, drive learning and development, and ensure statutory compliance under Indian labour laws.

Qualifications

• MBA in HR from a recognised university (mandatory).
• 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• 2–3 years in Real Estate, Property, Infrastructure or allied industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus) and the POSH Act.
• Proven payroll management experience and working knowledge of HRMS platforms.
• Has run full-cycle recruitment, both hands-on and through a team.
• Track record in engagement, performance management and retention.
• Able to lead and mentor a small HR team.
• Leadership role with direct access to senior management

Responsibilities

• Own the HR strategy end to end: talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, performance management and exits.
• Partner with department heads and CXOs on workforce planning, succession planning and organisation design.
• Run the full performance management cycle: goal setting, feedback, appraisals and PIPs.
• Oversee accurate, on-time payroll and work with Finance to ensure zero discrepancies.
• Ensure full statutory and labour law compliance (PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus) with regular audits.
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters fairly and in a structured way.
• Build an employee engagement calendar to drive culture and retention.
• Lead HRMS implementation and adoption: vendor coordination, UAT and workflows.
• Write and roll out HR policies and SOPs; drive onboarding, induction and L&D.
