Qualifications

• Post graduate MBA/PGDM in HR or Master's in HR required.
• 10–15 years of total experience in pharma/manufacturing plant HR preferred.
• Desirable: Labour Laws certification, Industrial Relations exposure, behavioural assessment certifications.

Responsibilities

• Reduce voluntary attrition through structured employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Improve employee morale with transparent communication, grievance resolution, and regular cross-level interactions.
• Ensure timely recruitment of quality manpower for all critical positions within budgets and ensure contractor manpower meets SOP requirements.
• Strengthen HR systems: induction, performance management, attendance, statutory compliance, contract labour management, HR documentation.
• Partner with Plant Leadership to improve work culture, discipline, accountability and productivity through regular HR interventions.
• Develop supervisors and middle management through structured behavioural and people management training.

We are looking for an experienced HR Head to lead HR operations for our manufacturing plant at Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh Nitin Lifesciences Ltd.

We are looking for a professional with strong manufacturing industry exposure, particularly in:

• Plant HR & HR Operations
• Employee Relations
• Labour & Statutory Compliance
• Workforce Management

Candidates with relevant pharma/manufacturing plant HR experience will be preferred.

Role & responsibilities

• Reduce voluntary attrition through structured employee engagement and retention initiatives.

• Improve employee morale by establishing transparent communication channels, grievance resolution mechanisms and regular interaction with employees across all levels.

• Ensure timely recruitment of quality manpower for all critical positions while maintaining recruitment cost within approved budgets. Also to ensure that manpower provided by the Contractor is of right skill / minimum qualification as per defined SOPs at Site

• Strengthen HR systems including induction training, performance management, attendance, statutory compliance, contract labour management and HR documentation.

• Partner with Plant Leadership to improve work culture, discipline, accountability and employee productivity through regular HR interventions.

• Develop supervisors and middle management through structured behavioural and people management training programmes.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: Post Graduate - MBA / PGDM in Human Resource Management or Master's Degree in HR / Personnel Management.

Total Experience, in years: 10-15 years .

Desirable: Labour Laws certification, Industrial Relations exposure, Behavioural Assessment certifications (added advantage).
