Job summary

Shycocare Technologies in an industrial plant setting seeks an HR & Admin professional to own the employee lifecycle, ensure statutory compliance, and manage site administration. Your role involves working with plant management and the corporate HR team, handling onboarding, records, attendance, payroll inputs, and employee relations.

You will lead recruitment for plant staff, manage contract labour, and implement HR policies with MIS reporting, trainings, safety, and development programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR is an advantage.
  • 6+ years of relevant plant HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, records, attendance and payroll inputs.
  • Coordinate recruitment for plant, technical, operational and support roles.
  • Manage employee relations, grievances and workplace engagement.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with labour laws, PF/ESI and related funds.
  • Administer contract labour documentation, attendance and wage coordination.
  • Oversee site administration including security, facilities and transport.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and MIS reporting.
  • Coordinate training and development, inductions and safety training.

Job description

About the Role

This is a HR & Admin role, requiring the candidate to take complete ownership of the employee lifecycle, statutory compliance, workforce administration, employee relations, and site administration. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently in a plant/site environment and coordinating closely with plant management and the corporate HR team.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations: Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave, shifts, payroll inputs, transfers, confirmations, promotions and exits.

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning: Handle recruitment for plant, technical, operational and support roles, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening and interview coordination.

3. Employee Relations: Act as the primary HR contact for employees, handling grievances, disciplinary matters, employee engagement and workplace relations.

4. Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, statutory registers, audits and inspections.

5. Contract Labour Management: Manage contract workforce documentation, deployment, attendance, wage coordination and contractor statutory compliance.

6. Administration & Site Management: Oversee plant administration including housekeeping, security, transportation, accommodation, canteen, facilities, vendors and general site requirements.

7. HR Policies & MIS: Implement HR policies and processes, maintain HR records and prepare MIS reports covering headcount, attendance, attrition, absenteeism, overtime and manpower.

8. Training & Development: Coordinate employee induction, training programs, skill development, safety/compliance training and maintain relevant training records.

Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations and administration
  • Good understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance
  • Experience in plant/site HR or industrial HR preferred
  • Good knowledge of attendance and payroll processes
  • Experience handling contract labour
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good MS Excel and HRMS skills
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
Experience

6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in plant HR / manufacturing / industrial / infrastructure / renewable energy / EPC / process industry environments.
