Job summary

Seligo Consultants is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead end-to-end recruitment across corporate and plant functions, manage onboarding, policies and compliance, and drive engagement and performance development across locations.

The ideal candidate will have an MBA/PGDM in HR and 5-8 years of HR experience in manufacturing or FMCG, with strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

• Lead end-to-end recruitment across corporate and plant functions.
• Develop hiring strategies and ensure an excellent candidate experience.
• Build relationships with recruitment partners and educational institutions.
• Track hiring metrics and continuously improve recruitment effectiveness.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Manage onboarding, employee records, confirmations, promotions, transfers and exits.
• Draft and implement HR policies, SOPs and employee communications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.

Engagement & Culture

• Drive employee engagement, recognition and internal communication initiatives.
• Act as a trusted HR partner for employees and managers across locations.
• Promote a collaborative, accountable and high-performance culture.

Performance & Development

Coordinate performance review cycles and employee development plans.

Identify training needs and facilitate relevant learning initiatives.

Support managers in performance, feedback and career-development discussions.

HR Analytics & Business Partnership

• Prepare HR dashboards and workforce reports for leadership review.
• Partner with department heads on manpower planning and organisational development.
• Recommend improvements to HR systems, policies and processes.
• Support the implementation and effective use of HR technology platforms to digitise employee processes,
• improve reporting and reduce manual work.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification.
• 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG or food processing.
• Experience managing the complete employee lifecycle.
• Sound understanding of Indian labour laws and HR compliance.
• Strong interpersonal, written communication and stakeholder-management skills.
