Job summary

Red Envelope Consultants is seeking an experienced Head of HR for an automobile retail business with multiple locations across Gujarat. Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role reports to the Head of Business & Managing Director and leads 1 HR Executive.

Requirements include 10+ years of HR experience, graduate/MBA-HR, and must have automobile dealership/auto-retail experience. You will oversee recruitment, training, engagement, performance management, HR operations and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience.
• Must have experience in automobile dealerships or automobile retail.
• Senior HR / HR Generalist / HR Manager / Head HR role experience.
• Strong recruitment, training & development, employee engagement, performance management and HR operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall HR function for the organization.
• Handle recruitment and manpower planning for showroom locations.
• Manage and guide the HR Executive.
• Develop and implement HR policies and processes.
• Manage employee engagement, retention and employee relations.
• Plan and coordinate training and development programs.
• Identify employee skill gaps and arrange suitable training.
• Manage performance appraisals and performance management.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace issues.
• Maintain HR records, MIS and HR reports for management.
• Work with department heads on manpower and employee-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Support MD and business leadership on HR and organizational development.
• Ensure HR policies and practices are followed consistently across locations.

Candidate Profile

• Should have experience in a senior HR / HR Generalist / HR Manager / Head HR role.
• Must Experience in automobile dealerships or automobile retail.
• Strong experience in Recruitment, Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, and HR Operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English.
• Mature, professional, and people-oriented personality.
• Should be comfortable working independently and directly with senior management.
