Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group HR Head to lead the Human Resources function for a leading multi-brand automobile dealership group operating across Tamil Nadu. The role requires a seasoned HR leader with strong expertise in workforce planning, talent acquisition, payroll, HR operations, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development.

The incumbent will be responsible for driving end-to-end HR strategies, ensuring compliance, enhancing employee experience, and supporting business growth through effective people management practices.

Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Partner with business leadership to support workforce planning and organizational growth.
• Lead HR transformation initiatives and drive a performance-oriented culture.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment across all dealership locations.
• Develop manpower budgets and workforce planning strategies.
• Leverage social media, digital platforms, and modern recruitment technologies for talent acquisition.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Manage complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to separation.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee HR administration, documentation, and employee records.

Payroll & HRMS

• Supervise payroll processing and statutory compliances.
• Drive effective utilization of HRMS platforms and HR analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.

Performance Management System (PMS)

• Design and implement performance management frameworks.
• Drive KPI-based performance reviews and succession planning.
• Support leadership development and talent management initiatives.

Learning & Development

• Identify training needs across business functions.
• Develop and implement learning and leadership development programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness and employee capability enhancement.

Employee Engagement & Retention

• Lead employee engagement initiatives and retention programs.
• Drive employee satisfaction, grievance handling, and workplace culture initiatives.

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team across multiple locations.

Desired Candidate Profile Experience

• 1520 years of overall HR experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Head HR / Group HR Head role.
• Experience managing multi-location and large workforce environments.

Education
