Qualifications

• Bachelor-level finance/commerce degree with advanced EXIM exposure or MBA Finance.
• Experience leading EXIM operations in manufacturing/export environment.
• Familiarity with DGFT, EDI, and export incentive schemes.

• Plan and oversee all export shipments from order receipt to delivery.
• Coordinate with international customers and global sales for schedules and docs.

Head - EXIM OperationsLocation: Faridabad, Haryana Function: Export-Import / Supply Chain / International Trade Reporting To: Director / VP Operations or CFOAbout the Role: We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy professional to lead our Export-Import operations end-to-end. This is a leadership role for someone who combines strong finance acumen with deep EXIM expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, internationally connected environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Export Operations:
  • Plan and execute all export shipments from order receipt to final delivery at destination
  • Coordinate with international customers and the global sales team for shipment schedules, documentation, and compliance
  • Prepare and verify all export documents - commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, LC documents, etc.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA (Custom House Agents), and DGFT
• Import Operations:
  • Manage import clearances, duty calculations, and coordination with CHAs
  • Handle advance licenses, EPCG, MEIS/RoDTEP, and other export incentive schemes
  • Ensure timely availability of imported raw materials in coordination with the Purchase team
• Finance & Compliance:
  • Handle LC (Letter of Credit) - both import and export - in coordination with banks
  • Manage foreign exchange transactions, hedging coordination, and bank realization (FIRA/BRC)
  • Ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI guidelines, and Customs regulations
  • Coordinate with auditors and finance team on EXIM-related reconciliations
• Cross-functional Coordination:
  • Work closely with Production, Stores, and Purchase teams to align shipment planning with manufacturing schedules
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and dispatch team for packing, labeling, and container stuffing
  • Provide regular MIS reports on shipment status, incentive utilization, and EXIM KPIs to management
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs and customs duties
  • Stay updated on changing trade policies, DGFT notifications, and international trade regulations
  • Digitize and modernize EXIM processes - implement tools for shipment tracking, document management, and reporting

Who We Are Looking For:

• Education:
  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
  • Additional certification in EXIM / Foreign Trade (e.g., IIFT, CII certification) preferred
• Experience:
  • 10-15 years of experience in EXIM operations, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing company handling both exports and imports is essential
  • Hands-on experience with DGFT portal, customs EDI, and export incentive schemes
• Skills & Attributes:
  • High energy, proactive, and a self-starter attitude
  • Strong finance and commercial understanding
  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable dealing with international clients and global teams
  • Modern outlook - open to using technology, automation tools, and digital platforms
  • Strong negotiation skills with freight forwarders, CHAs, and shipping lines
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and email communication in English
