Job summary

Zetwerk is seeking an experienced Estimation & Proposals Lead to oversee multi-disciplinary cost estimation for EPC/LSTK projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Metals sectors. You will own tender analysis, vendor RFQs, and techno-commercial evaluations to support competitive bids.

You will coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams, ensuring accurate, timely estimates and seamless collaboration with business development and project management.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in estimation/proposal management for EPC/LSTK projects in Mineral & Metals.
• In-depth knowledge of LSTK/EPC project delivery across multiple disciplines.
• Experience in vendor/subcontractor management, RFQs, and techno-commercial evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimation team for LSTK/EPC projects across civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.
• Examine tender documents to understand client expectations, deadlines, and submission requirements.
• Ensure prequalification with Oil & Gas Vendor Databases and EPC contractors.
• Prepare RFQs and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for budgets.
• Develop commercial comparisons to support bid proposals.
• Conduct cost estimation based on P&IDs and project scope across disciplines.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align on scope and estimates.
• Monitor estimates for accuracy and timely submission to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with BD and PM teams to review and finalize bids.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the estimation team for LSTK/EPC projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Metal & Mineral sector, including ownership of multi-disciplinary estimation activities across civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation domains.
• Thoroughly examine tender documents, with a strong focus on understanding client expectations, deadlines, and proposal submission requirements.
• Ensure prequalification with all relevant Oil & Gas Vendor Databases and EPC contractors to maintain competitive positioning.
• Prepare RFQs and coordinate with potential vendors and subcontractors to gather budgetary estimates.
• Develop commercial comparisons to support bid proposals.
• Conduct cost estimation of projects based on P&IDs and project scope, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation elements.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align on scope and estimates.
• Monitor and ensure all cost estimates are accurate, comprehensive, and submitted on time to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with business development and project management teams to review and finalize project bids.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in estimation/proposal management for EPC/LSTK projects in the Mineral & Metals industry.
• In-depth knowledge of LSTK/EPC project delivery.
• Strong understanding of project cost estimation processes across various disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical,instrumentation).
• Experience in vendor/subcontractor management, RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and budgetary estimation.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
