• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing or related field.
• 15–17 years of relevant experience in automotive / auto-component industry.
• Experience in manufacturing/process engineering, NPD, industrialization, tooling, and productivity improvement.
• Proven team leadership and cross-functional project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Engineering and Process Engineering function.
• Develop and implement Engineering strategy, technology roadmap, budgets, and KPIs aligned with business objectives.
• Lead New Product Development (NPD), localization, feasibility, industrialization, APQP and PPAP activities.
• Drive productivity improvement, cost reduction, cycle-time reduction, OEE improvement, and process optimization.
• Lead development and improvement of dies, tools, fixtures, gauges, automation, and special-purpose equipment.
• Drive process standardization, continuous improvement, quality improvement, and manufacturing excellence.
• Lead planning, technical evaluation, implementation, commissioning, and validation of machines and engineering projects.
• Drive engineering-related FMEA, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Manage engineering changes, drawings, BOMs, technical documentation, and change-control processes.
• Develop and manage tooling, equipment, and engineering suppliers in coordination with Purchase and Quality.
• Ensure effective cross-functional coordination with Production, Quality, Purchase, Maintenance, Tool Room, R&D, and other functions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering, Process Engineering, Tooling, and CAD/Design teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, NPD, Industrialization, Tooling, and Productivity Improvement.
• Proven experience in team leadership and cross-functional project management
