Job summary

Vigilant Technologies in Hyderabad, India, seeks an Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Consultant to deliver Fusion HCM Cloud solutions across Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits and Core HR. You will bridge functional and technical workstreams with business stakeholders.

You will configure modules, develop Fast Formulas and HDL, build BI Publisher and OTBI reports, and design integrations via OIC and REST/SOAP APIs, while providing ongoing production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/HR/Business or related field.
• 8+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience with techno-functional exposure.
• Experience across Oracle HCM implementation, enhancement, integration, and production support.
• Hands-on experience in two or more HCM modules, with Payroll and Core HR preferred.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders and deliver Oracle HCM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions within Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud (Payroll/Absence/Benefits/Core HR).
• Configure and support Oracle HCM Cloud modules based on business requirements and best practices.

• Design and develop integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party applications using OIC and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to deliver scalable HCM solutions.
• Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for payroll, absence, benefits, and other HCM processes.
• Create data migration/loading activities using HDL and HCM data tools.
• Design and develop BI Publisher reports, OTBI analyses, dashboards, and data models.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, and Core HR. The role involves understanding business requirements, functional configuration, technical development, integrations, troubleshooting, and production support for Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across both functional and technical areas, collaborating with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable Oracle HCM solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions within Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud, including Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, and Core HR.
• Configure and support Oracle HCM Cloud modules based on business requirements and established best practices.
• Develop and customize technical components including Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, HDL, BI Publisher Reports, OTBI, and integrations.
• Design, develop, and support integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and other integration technologies.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues by analyzing application behavior, logs, data, configurations, and integrations, and identify root causes.
• Work closely with business and functional teams to understand requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for payroll, absence, benefits, and other HCM business processes.
• Create and support data migration and data-loading activities using HDL, HCM Extracts, and other Oracle HCM data tools.
• Design and develop BI Publisher reports, OTBI analyses, dashboards, and data models based on business requirements.
• Manage and support HCM security roles, data access, business objects, and related configurations.
• Participate in system integration testing, functional testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production support.
• Support enhancements, patches, quarterly Oracle updates, and impact analysis across HCM modules.
• Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation for configurations, integrations, reports, and customizations.
• Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of HCM solutions.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong techno-functional expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud, particularly Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, and Core HR.
• Good understanding of end-to-end HCM business processes and their relationship with technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience with HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher, and OTBI.
• Strong knowledge of OIC integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Good understanding of the Oracle HCM Data Model and HCM business processes.
• Experience with functional configurations and technical customizations within Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Knowledge of security roles, data access, approval workflows, and business rules.
• Experience working with Redwood pages and business rules is preferred.
• Ability to analyze functional requirements, identify technical impacts, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with functional, technical, and business teams.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, with strong techno-functional exposure.
• Proven experience across Oracle HCM implementation, enhancement, integration, and production support projects.
• Hands-on experience in at least two or more HCM modules, with strong expertise in Payroll and Core HR preferred.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver Oracle HCM solutions.
• Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud quarterly updates, testing, and impact analysis is preferred.
