Source Desk Global in Kolkata is hiring a Hardware Networking Administrator to support in-house users and maintain IT infrastructure. You will diagnose hardware and software issues, configure and monitor LAN/WAN, manage asset procurement, and liaise with hosting and domain providers.

The role is office-based with a 5-day work week and a modern work environment. Requirements include 2+ years of experience, hands-on networking, server and device configuration, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in hardware and networking.
• Experience with web servers, control panels and hosting management.
• Experience in LAN/WAN setup and IT asset procurement.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues across the IT stack.
• Maintenance of networked devices like routers, switches, printers.

Responsibilities

• File and database transfer between servers.
• Manage server security, firewall and network infrastructure.
• Handle documentation and administrative Excel tasks.
• Coordinate with external hosting and domain/email providers.
• Assemble and maintain computer hardware and office IT assets.
• Maintain LAN/WAN network and system security; install printers/scanners.

We are looking for a Hardware Networking Engineer to provide inhouse assistance to our employees. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware related problems.

Requirements

Technical Skills: 2+ Experience working on the following areas:

• Knowledge on Web Server, Control Panel, Software and Services such such, File sharing Server(s) etc
• Will be responsible for file transfer, website migration, domain, hosting account management
• Will be responsible for the system, hardware allocation, and configuration management,
• Troubleshooting of all types of Hardware and software applications problems
• Monitoring and Administration of the IT Infrastructure like Laptop, Desktop & Printer, Installation, and configuration of Windows Operating System
• Experience in set -up of Lan / Wan.
• Experience in IT Asset Procurement, Vendor Coordination, and Asset Management.

Hands-on experience in setting up, configuring, and maintaining Internet connectivity, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and related network infrastructure.
