Job summary

KD Systems in Ahmedabad is seeking a motivated Computer Hardware & Networking Engineer to install, maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure for a wide range of clients.

You will configure desktops, laptops, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi access points and firewalls, provide on-site and remote support, and perform preventive maintenance and AMC visits. Travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in computer hardware and networking.
• Valid driving license and own vehicle required for field visits.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic firewall configuration.
• Experience installing Windows, drivers and software.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install and configure routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and firewall devices.
• Diagnose and resolve computer hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Install operating systems, drivers, and business software.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and AMC service visits.
• Install and troubleshoot CCTV systems (preferred).
• Maintain service reports and update job status after each visit.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure timely and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel for onsite customer support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CCTV installation and troubleshooting.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
• Candidates based in Ahmedabad will be given preference.
