Job summary

Soho House & Co is a collection of members' clubs, restaurants, hotels and cinemas catering to those in the film, media, fashion and creative industries. We seek a hospitality-focused individual who can deliver excellent customer service, manage membership tasks, and keep gym areas pristine and safe.

You will work closely with our team to ensure a seamless experience for members and guests in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or service industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
• Able to lead a small team and keep them motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
• Deal with membership administration tasks.
• Ensure gym areas are maintained to a high standard during shifts.
• Build rapport with members and guests.
• Manage door entry and exit system effectively.
• Promote and sell memberships and member initiatives.
• Maintain and clean all gym equipment.
• Ensure safeguarding and Health & Safety procedures are followed.

What We Are Looking For

We are primarily looking for someone who is used to working in hospitality as the position requires understanding of how operations work. You are good with people and have a positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.

You are also comfortable with systems and administrative tasks and with managing a little team and keep them motivated.

The role…

• Deal with member enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Manage the door entry and exit system effectively.
• To actively promote and sell the various memberships we have available.
• Promote member challenges and initiatives.
• To maintain and clean all equipment.
• Responsible for the safety and enjoyment of our members whilst using the gym facilities.
• To ensure Safeguarding and Health & Safety procedures are being followed.
• Able to seek solutions and resolve problems, as and when they arise.
