Job summary

Brodersen Systems in Pune, India seeks an execution-oriented engineering operations leader to plan and manage the complete Order-to-Delivery cycle for industrial automation projects.

You will coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Production, Integration, Testing and Project Execution, drive on-time delivery, cost control and quality, and build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement across functions including shop floor and external partners such as OEMs and EPCs.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and broad technical understanding are essential.
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Projects).
• Experience with OEMs, utilities, EPCs or industrial customers is preferred.
• Strong project management, problem-solving and vendor-management skills.
• Commercially aware with a strong focus on cost, quality and delivery.
• Hands-on leader capable of bridging engineering and shop floor.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the complete Order-to-Delivery cycle.
• Ensure projects and customer orders are delivered on time, within cost and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Production, Integration, Testing and Project Execution.
• Manage production planning, capacity utilisation and shop-floor performance.
• Purchase & Procurement planning and inventory optimisation.
• Oversee packing, packaging, inbound & outbound logistics for domestic and international shipments.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs covering delivery, quality, inventory, productivity and cost.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strengthen SOPs, systems and processes to support business growth.
• Compliances related to Factory, Pollution, Labour, EXIM, MOOWR
• Work closely with Sales, Customers, OEMs, Utilities, EPCs and international project teams.
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability and execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

Ideal Candidate:

• 10 to 15+ years of experience in industrial automation, electrical/electronic equipment, RTUs, PLC/SCADA, control systems, panels or similar engineered products.
• Engineering background with strong technical understanding.
• Experience managing multiple functions across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Projects.
• Experience with OEMs, utilities, EPCs or industrial customers is preferred.
• Strong project management, problem-solving and vendor-management skills.
• Commercially aware with a strong focus on cost, quality and delivery.
• Hands-on leader who is comfortable working with both engineering teams and the shop floor.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is must
