Merapath Education Limited in Noida is seeking an experienced GeM Procurement Executive to manage procurement activities on the GeM portal, including vendor management, bid participation, and order execution.

The role requires deep knowledge of government procurement guidelines, strong negotiation and documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliant purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in commerce, business, or related field.
• GeM procurement certification or hands-on experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities through the GeM portal.
• Search, evaluate, and identify suitable products and vendors as per organizational requirements.
• Create and manage bids, reverse auctions, and direct procurement processes on GeM.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for procurement requirements.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, purchase orders, comparative statements, and reports.
• Track order status, deliveries, invoices, and payment follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with GeM policies, procurement guidelines, and government regulations.
• Monitor GeM notifications, updates, and amendments related to procurement activities.
• Resolve procurement-related issues and coordinate with GeM support when required.
• Maintain records of contracts, purchase orders, vendor registrations, and procurement transactions.
• Assist in vendor onboarding and performance evaluation.
• Generate MIS reports and procurement analytics for management review.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GeM Procurement Executive to manage procurement activities through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, bid participation, procurement processing, order execution, and ensuring compliance with government procurement guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Certification or experience in GeM procurement will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in GeM procurement, government procurement, tendering, or purchasing.
• Hands-on experience working on the GeM Portal.
• Experience in vendor management and procurement documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GeM procurement processes and government purchasing procedures.
• Understanding of bid management, reverse auctions, and procurement compliance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and procurement reporting.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience handling government procurement projects.
• Familiarity with CPPP, e-Procurement, and tender portals will be an added advantage.
