Job summary

BizAaramabh is seeking a proactive GeM Executive to manage the Government e-Marketplace presence, including product listings, bids, tender tracking, and order processing. The role requires hands-on GeM portal experience and strong procurement knowledge.

You will coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Accounts, Logistics, and Technical teams to ensure timely bid submissions and compliant documentation, while maintaining detailed records and regular GeM performance reports.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of GeM operations, tendering, e-procurement, or government sales.
  • Hands-on experience working on the GeM portal.
  • Good understanding of government procurement processes and tender procedures.
  • Knowledge of BOQ, Reverse Auction (RA), L1 bidding, and bid participation.
  • Strong documentation and coordination skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Email communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, update, and maintain product/service listings on the GeM portal.
  • Search and identify relevant GeM bids, tenders, and business opportunities on a regular basis.
  • Participate in GeM bidding, BOQ-based bids, and Reverse Auctions (RA).
  • Review bid requirements, eligibility criteria, specifications, terms & conditions, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Accounts, Logistics, Operations, and Technical teams for bid and order execution.
  • Process and track GeM orders, invoices, payments, and related documentation as per government requirements.
  • Handle buyer queries, order modifications, cancellations, and other GeM-related issues.
  • Ensure timely submission of bids, documents, quotations, and other required information.
  • Maintain accurate records of bids, tenders, orders, invoices, payments, and performance reports.
  • Monitor the complete order lifecycle from bid participation to order execution and closure.
  • Ensure compliance with GeM policies, government procurement guidelines, documentation requirements, and timelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest GeM rules, policies, portal features, and procurement guidelines.
  • Prepare regular reports related to bid participation, order status, sales, and GeM performance.

About The Role

BizAaramabh Client looking for a proactive and detail-oriented GeM Executive to manage and operate the company's presence on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for product listing, bid participation, tender tracking, order processing, documentation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of government orders.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the GeM portal and a good understanding of government procurement, bidding, BOQ, reverse auctions, L1 bidding, and e-procurement processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in GeM operations, tendering, e-procurement, or government sales.
  • Hands-on experience working on the GeM portal.
  • Good understanding of government procurement processes and tender procedures.
  • Knowledge of BOQ, Reverse Auction (RA), L1 bidding, and bid participation.
  • Strong documentation and coordination skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Email communication.

Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience in GeM tendering / e-procurement portals.
  • Experience handling Government / PSU clients.
  • Knowledge of technical and commercial bid documentation.
  • Experience in product catalogue creation and management on GeM.
  • Experience in handling BOQ-based tenders and Reverse Auctions.
  • Candidates with experience in IT Networking, Telecom, IT Hardware, Wireless, or related products will be preferred.
