Job summary

ZAVI in Mumbai seeks a seasoned Garment Production & Logistics Specialist to oversee sourcing, production planning, procurement, vendor management, and logistics for men’s and women’s wear. You will drive end-to-end production with manufacturers across India, China, and global markets to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a network of garment suppliers, strong negotiation and planning skills, ERP/Excel proficiency, and the ability to coordinate with design

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in garment sourcing, production, and logistics.
• Experience working with garment manufacturers and suppliers in India, China, and international markets.
• Strong negotiation, procurement planning, and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end garment production from sourcing to delivery.
• Develop production and procurement plans to optimize ordering and inventory.
• Source, evaluate, and manage garment manufacturers and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with vendors.
• Maintain and expand vendor networks across India, China and global markets.
• Coordinate production schedules and monitor quality standards.
• Manage domestic and international logistics, shipping, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with design, merchandising, and procurement teams to ensure smooth production execution.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing manufacturers across India, China, and global markets while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end garment production from sourcing to delivery.
• Develop production and procurement plans to optimize ordering and inventory.
