MAN Truck & Bus India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, operating with a hybrid work policy, is seeking a senior embedded software engineer for automotive drivetrain, braking and steering systems.

You will develop requirements and embedded software, perform MIL/SIL tests and coordinate with global teams as a subject-matter expert. The candidate should have 8–12 years of experience, an M.Tech/PG-D in Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical, and strong C/C++, Python and MATLAB/Simulink skills.

Formación

• 8–12 years of experience in automotive embedded software.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink and Git.
• Experience with ISO 26262 and model-based development.
• Hands-on ECU flashing and debugging experience.
• Exposure to interfacing components and version control tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop requirements and embedded software for drivetrain, braking and steering systems.
• Perform MIL/SIL testing, simulation, debugging and ECU integration.
• Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders as a SW SME.
• Work in an agile international team environment.

Your Tasks –

Develop requirements and embedded software for automotive drivetrain, braking, and steering systems. Perform MIL/SIL testing, simulation, debugging, and ECU integration using C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and Git. Follow ISO 26262 and coordinate with global teams and stakeholders as an SW SME.

To ensure that you will-

• Understand the Vehicle system and develop the requirements
• Develop functionality for brake and drivetrain management software
• Develop MIL, SIL tests for verification of functionality
• Work with simulations (creating scripts and taking ownership of features including handling bugs fixes, new concept creation, etc.)
• Work in agile international team environment
• Be a SME for all the SW development
• Coordinate with global TRATON Group companies and external partners
• Technical Discussion with Stakeholders in Europe
• Experience: 8 to 12 years.
• Qualification: M. Tech/PG-D in Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical
• Experienced drivetrain, brake systems understanding
• Experience in embedded software development
• Strong knowledge in C/C++, Python, GIT and MATLAB/Simulink
• Strong knowledge in embedded SW development with C
• Strong knowledge in Model Based SW development.
• Working Exposure of Functional Safety ISO26262
• Excellent communication skills, Analytical & problem-solving mindset
• Flexibility, you are ready to change focus when needed
• Reliable, transparent and precise way of working
• Exposure of interfacing components and flashing and debugging of ECUs
• Able to handle Version and requirement management tools like GitLab, JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Experience with writing function requirements and specifications from System requirements
• Relevant Industries: Automotive OEM and Teir 1 Supplier
